Monica Kartika is the first Indonesian certified as a Japanese Tea Instructor by the Japanese Tea Instructor Association. She practices the Japanese tea ceremony (Sadou) in Kyoto and has studied tea and culinary arts in Australia, Indonesia, and Japan.
